The Estate

Three generations, six hectares, 600 metres of altitude. A story of stone, wood, and patience.

01

Geography

Paluzza lies in the upper But valley in the Carnia, the northernmost corner of Friuli. The Terminus Terra estate sits where the meadows end and the alpine pastures begin — on a sun-facing terrace with views to Mount Zoncolan in the west and the Creta di Timau in the north.

02

Vines

We grow native varietals: Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, and Schioppettino. The altitude demands patience — the grapes ripen slowly and keep the acidity that defines mountain wine.

03

Orchard

Our apple meadows lie above the vineyard, protected by an 18th-century dry-stone wall. We work old varieties — including Carla, Pana, and Decio — fermenting slowly, with no additives.

04

Philosophy

Certified organic since 2017. No pesticides, no fining agents, no shortcuts. We bottle when the wine is ready — not when the calendar says so.
